How to place PubDragons ad code on your website

Before you start

Make sure your website domain is approved in the "My Websites" section and you have created at least one Ad Placement to get your unique ad code.

Integration for WordPress

The easiest way to add ads to your WordPress site is using a plugin.

Method 1: Using "Ad Inserter" Plugin (Recommended)

This plugin allows you to place ads exactly where you want them (header, footer, inside posts, sidebar).

Install the Plugin

Go to your WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New. Search for "Ad Inserter" and install/activate it.

Get your Ad Code

Go to the PubDragons Dashboard → Placements. Copy the code snippet for the ad unit you want to display.

Paste Code in Plugin

In WordPress, go to Settings → Ad Inserter. Select a generic block (e.g., Block 1), paste your code, and choose where to display it (e.g., "Before Content", "After Paragraph 3").

Save Settings

Click "Save Settings" and clear any caches if you use caching plugins.

Method 2: Using "Insert Headers and Footers"

Best for scripts that need to run globally, like auto-ads or sticky footers.

Install "WPCode" (formerly Insert Headers and Footers) plugin.
Go to Code Snippets → Header & Footer.
Paste your ad code in the Header or Footer section depending on the ad type.
Save changes.

Caching Warning

If you use caching plugins like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache, make sure to clear the cache after placing the ad code so changes appear immediately.
